South Carolina Concealed Weapon Permit (SC CWP) Certification
This class is intended for users that have the fundamentals of safely handling and firing a firearm. If you have never fired a firearm or desire to learn more about firearms prior to attending the South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (SC CWP) class you may be interested in attending our Introduction to Firearms class prior to starting your SC CWP qualification journey.
If you have experience safely handling and firing a firearm and just want to qualify for the SC CWP; our class exceeds the requirements for the training required to become a Concealed Weapon Permit holder. Our informative class will begin to show you how this is a continued learning process. In the class we will discuss different types of firearms, how to load and unload them, firearm cleaning, selecting the proper holster and the Laws for SC. All required paperwork will be provided.
Introduction to Firearms
If you are interested in firearms but are not fully comfortable with handling and firing a firearm, this is the class for you.
This is our pre-requisite class for our SC CWP class. We offer this pre-requisite to ensure all of our students are capable of handling a firearm in safe manner and also to ensure all students have the necessary skills prior to attending a qualification class.
This class is intended to introduce parties interested in firearms to different firearms and the use of those firearms in the self defense area.
This private or small group setting is perfect to ask questions, learn and get a feel of a firearm in your hands without the pressure to qualify right away.
All students who take the Introduction to Firearms class, will be given a voucher for a discount on our SC Concealed Carry Class offering.
Personal and Home Defense
Defense of yourself, home and family members are the top things that come to mind when someone thinks of self-defense. That is why so many people have purchased firearms, "to have it at home to defend themselves if the situation arises."
This class teaches “the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a firearm for protection of self, family in the setting of your home. Course attendees will learn basic defensive pistol skills, strategies for home safety, responding to a violent confrontation, firearms and the law.
Most families do not have a plan of what to do or how to respond if they were attacked in their home. As the saying goes, "A Failure to plan is a plan to fail?" Do not plan to fail in this case, your family and property are valuable and should be protected when and if the need arises.
Have a plan and operate within the plan to defend your home.
Private Firearms Refresher
Looking to brush up on firing a firearm? Do you need to shake off the rust prior to taking the SC CWP course? This is the session for you! 2 hour private session to provide guidance and tips to help you sharpen your shooting skills.
Private SC CWP Certification
Looking to complete the SC CWP course in a smaller session? This 8 hour private session is designed to accommodate up to 4 students and catered to meet your needs in a smaller setting.
Firearm Cleaning Session
So you have bought a firearm, you have fired it, and now it is dirty. Now what? Well, now you need to clean it and make sure it is well maintained for when you want or need to use it. Schedule a 1 hour session to learn how to clean your firearm.
